I was invited to realise a public sculpture on a platform along the Danube canal (an arm of the river Danube) located in Vienna’s city centre. The two works consist of found objects next to the site, such as a graffitied square old concrete block, a heavy granite stone, stapled bicycle stands (the typical green ones of the city of Vienna). I welded these elements together in a process that, for me, is symbolically reminiscent of a kind of a product recall from their original function.
