This is the show title of my solo exhibition at Galerie Mezzanin, Vienna, which commented on the moment prior to a mayhem scenario. Its one-liner character was instigated by an anecdote told by a friend about a group of doctors on a luxurious safari trip in Kenya paid by a medical company. Out of boredom and drunkenness on the terrace of a savannah hotel, they paid some locals to catch a big bird on which they attached some explosives, set fire to and made it fly away. Unfortunately for the doctors though, the bird flew only some hundred meters before it turned around and headed towards the terrace. Somebody screamed: “Get your gin/tonics and run.”
